The Climate Trail exhibition illustrates the latest scientific findings on climate change, explains the causes of global warming and explains its impact on humans and animals. Besides it describes everyday actions which families can take to reduce carbon emissions by pursuing a more sustainable lifestyle and so help to fight together against climate change.
The dramatic increase in greenhouse gases in the earth’s atmosphere has led to an increase in global temperatures and the destabilization of the earth’s climate. E.g. arctic temperatures have risen at almost twice the global rate. The public health consequences of global warming will have drastic effects. If warming continues, more than a million species worldwide could be driven to extinction by 2050.
The exhibition was originally set up by Presence Switzerland and has already been displayed in many U.S. cities. swissnex Singapore brings it for the first time to the South-East Asian region and will display it in the frame of the International Energy week respectively the participation of swissnex at the Clean Energy Expo. The Climate Trail will be set up amongst others at the Carbon Forum Asia and in the City Square Mall.
